10th Entry
Studying is hard, especially if you wanted to do something rather than to study. And the only that stands between study and fun is what I think. The more I think about the things I want to do for fun, the more I am moving away from studying. Unlike when I'm focused on studying and studying itself I get to study and learn more. *Sigh*

Life sure is good. If we wanted to do something there are chances though it may be once, twice, or even more. If we have a problem there's always a way to overcome though sometimes it doesn't come easy. Everyday we have air to breathe. Isn't that enough to say that life is good? But even if it's like that, we shouldn't abuse the goodness of life.
8th Entry
All of us college students have the intent of graduating with a degree to get a good job. Though with that in mind, we can't help doing something else than studying. It's because we somehow get bored easily if we do the same thing all over always. Somehow, sometimes we slack off doing nothing but in that at some point we see people around us, people at the television and elsewhere starving, having nothing but themselves. It just keeps us to think what our goal here at college is. You'll start to think like, "Damn! What am I doing right now? I don't want to be like that, that's why I'm here at college. I should work harder, not just for me but for my family. " Just like that.

*Sigh* It sure is tough when you get all relaxed at the start of the term. Worst thing that can happen is that you'll fall behind in all that you need to do at school. Well, not just at school but with everything else. You can't treat everything lightly... Now I know that because I'm already having a hard time. *Sigh* But it's never too late to do something. And because of that, I can't just give up.

Teenagers
For most teenagers, making decisions is one of the most difficult things to do. One of these decisions is to do what your parents want you to do or what you want to do. Obeying is following what someone orders you to do, while independence is having the free will to do what you want to do. Obeying and becoming independent are both important, but there is aright time for obedience. You can't just be independent at a young age. What would you do? Go to bars? Drink beer? Smoke? The same principle goes for obedience. You can't still be too obedient to your parents when you are already working. Fine, let's say the really toaught you well since you were a kid and guided you all the way. What if suddenly something happened to them and suddenly left you, what would happen to you? You would be just standing and staring, never knowing what to do next. What I am trying to say is that kids should listen to their parents while they are still being taken care of, and when you are nearing your independence, you should already know by that time that you know what to do and do it, not just for yourself but also for your family. Since you know that it's got to be done and you learned it from your folks while growing up, you will want to do it.
Most of today's teenagers want their independence early, thinking that they can take care of themselves. But it doesn't work that way, even if you think that you can live by your own, you should still follow your parents until you can be independent. Following what our folks say we grow up learning lots of things and what what we learn from them becomes part of our free will. It's for our own good, despite of what you think is right for you.

Working here and there. Most of these days I can't help but think all about those work needed to be done. Well thinking about them won't do anything at all. All I could is just take action and do them. And hopefully, I'll still be able to do more things like these at ease. *Sighs* I'm just tired. Later.

You know, sometimes you don't notice what you do. Sometimes you don't even know what you're doing at all. Maybe, just because of too much thinking. Way too much of it. It's not surprising with some people because they are busy doing lots of things. Carrying different kinds of responsibilities. This happens to me. I don't know why, maybe because I lack concentration and awareness on what I do. I guess I need to be more aware. It's because when you don't know what you're doing is the result would be you not remembering what you did that time. Sigh. Awareness...

Hey, how's it goin'? More and more work are coming at us these days. Especially today, because tomorrow's our long exam on Compro2. It ain't easy being a diligent student you know. Hahaha! But despite our hectic schedule, I guess we still have time to spare for relaxation. Well that is if you can use your time efficiently. Efficiency. Mm... Taught to us in economics as the state of being to utilize your resources to the fullest or rather putting them to good use. "Sigh." Yep, one of our most needed things. Efficiency.

Wow, lots of things are still coming up. There's this sportsfest everyone's excited about. Homeworks are pouring in, tests, exercises, quizzes, and there's Ms. Diane giving us more and more work, especially with our blogs. (Moment of silence) Hahaha! Just kiddin' Ms. Diane, in case you're reading this. Well, more work's coming our way. Mm... Just wanna put some humor into my journal. Well, it's true, we do have a lot to do in our blogs. You see that pile of work that needs to be done and suddenly your jaws open widely, then you suddenly faint. (Wait, this ain't part of..) But either way, I still thank our professors for keeping us busy constantly at all times. Hahaha! See ya.

Lot's of things can really happen. Last September 15, 2007 we went to Mt. Palay-palay as volunteers on a tree-planting event. Well, first we travelled for about 2 hours, then when we reached our destination, we had to hike for about twenty minutes. Well, it was my first time so nervousness wasn't rare in my case. I even didn't notice the time since I was preoccupied if I had stepped on the right stone or place. One little slip and it's down to thousands of feet. I haven't considered taking the easy way down, as did my companions. I never did worry how slow I was climbing or going down, I was only determined to reach the top and go back down safely. Hiking's nice, although I got my nerves shaking when hiking. Hahaha! Yeah, but still it picks up my interest. I told myself that I'd be back. Only to face more experience, good or bad, I'm not worried. I'd be back, surely. Slowly, but surely.

1st Entry
Hello, well, I haven't formally introduced myself to you guys so here I am. Hi again I'm John Louie Resurreccion Zaraspe. I'm currently a student of De La Salle University of Canlubang. I'm taking up BS Computer Engineering. Mmm... My birthdate is October 19, 1990. I graduated highschool at Al-Hekma Int'l School, Jeddah, K. S. A. Yeah! Proudly a hekman and lasallian. I really never thought that I'd be studying at De Lasalle, seriously. I was supposed to take up BS Pharmacy at the University of Santo Tomas. Partly, because I like medical courses and discussions, when discussions like that come up I feel that I like to participate unlike at others. And because my father graduated from U.S.T. Well, basically I enrolled here at DLSC because UST is so far from our house, about 2 hours when you commute one-way. Wow, I'd fall asleep once I get home from school if I am studying at UST now. So now, here I am studying at DLSC. Well I think I told you guys a lot. See ya. Take care.
Description
There was this nostalgic place. Whenever I return to that place, memories of things that happened there just comes to me. It's home to many of my memories, joyful or sad. Especially when I was still in that place, I loved to watch the setting of the sun. The loud and noisy games of kids, guys and girls laughing and hanging out. Although it was sad for me to say and do but I had to leave that place. It was one of my favorite places. It's a bit small, pretty small community I'd say. There, sometimes it's peaceful, noisy, loud, both happy and sad, sometimes there's unrest among those who gather there. A lot of things happen there, good and bad, but despite that I'd say that this place makes me like I'm home. Reminiscence is what comes to my mind when I find myself being in this place.

Comparative Analysis
Due to unexpected problems with my internet connection, I was only able to post my comparative analysis today. I felt really bad, I was supposed to post this last week but then something comes up with my net, well it's fine now. I like to apologize to Ms. Siriban due tardiness in posting this. Here it is.
Here is the comparative analysis that I made about three music videos. Well, to start with, the names of the songs and artists are Magbalik by Callalily, Tuliro by Spongecola, and Ngiti by Ronnie Liang. One thing common in this songs is that it is about love, and it's different problems, scenes, and more.
First, "Magbalik" by Callalily was a hit when it was released. It's classified as mellow rock. It was always on the top of the local charts seen on "MyxLive." This song tells of couple breaking up. The music video show that the girl moving away from the guy because she found someone else. Let's see, when I saw this song, I knew it was for those who are heart-broken, even if it's the guy or the girl that left, it's the same. This music video continuously shows couples break up. All the same, all brokenup couples yearn for what their previous relationship gave them, the security, love, and more. I can't really say for sure because I never had a girlfriend you know. Hey, despite that, it's a great music video that I'd give a thumbs up.
Second, "Tuliro" by Spongecola is also one of Spongecola's popular and favorite song. Its music video was rather more on performance rather than having a story within the music video. Nonetheless, this song is all about guys who always gets nervous when trying to talk to his crush. Yeah, that's practically normal. This music is classified as mellow rock or an alternative probably. Anyways, watching this music is video especially when you appreciate the tune!
And lastly, "Ngiti" by Ronnie Liang is one of those popular ballads this year 2007. A ballad song written in our mother tongue. This music video of "Ngiti" shows a guy who always watches the girl that he likes, a girl that always smiles. Ronnie was the guy at the video, he was taking pictures, talking, and smiling at the girl. I'm always feeling like I'm daydreaming that I'm together with my girlfriend, although I don't, not even once, force me I'll run. Just kidding, just adding humor. It's really a nice video, this song became my favorite after watching its video. You might even want to play the song after hearing it!
All of this songs are songs of love in different angles, events, and happenings. "Magbalik" is actually a lonely, mellow music video compared to the two music videos. "Tuliro" is really lively, more than "Magbalik" and "Ngiti." It kinda makes you sing even if you don't want to or maybe that's just me. While "Ngiti" is a ballad which expresses the excitement of watching the girl of your dreams right in front of you smiling. Imagine that, the guy or the girl you're waiting for, holding your hands, smiling at you, and you're together, next to each other watching the sun set. Hahaha! That's really good if it happens to me, too much daydreaming. Well, back to the point, this songs are all about love, but has different events of it, good and bad. Thanks for listening you guys. Well, good night.
Thanks for reading, good day to you all. God bless!

Research: Art
Hi, I'm John Louie. A college student studying at De La Salle University of Canlubang. And here's my research about art.
Art is something that a person tries to create. Art started a long time ago, from the stone age, til now. Art continues to amaze and interest people around the world. Most people, when you ask them about art, the first thing they'll think is that art is a painting, well, that's partially true."A work of art is a poem, a painting, a piece of music, a sculpture, a novel..." Art has a wide range of subjects or variety, from music to poetry, from sculptures to landmarks, from languages to culture. Basically, "works of art are physical objects." Aside from variety, these different kinds of art has their own distinctiveness and uniqueness. So I guess art can be seen almost everywhere you go.
